INTRODUCTION
Rog Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan (Ayurvedic Diagnostics and Pathology) is a fundamental, clinical department in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) curriculum. It focuses on diagnosing diseases (Vyadhi) and understanding their underlying pathology (Samprapti) using both ancient Ayurvedic methods and modern laboratory diagnostics.
Rog Nidan evum Vikriti Vigyan (Ayurvedic Diagnostics) is about diagnosing diseases using ancient methods. It focuses on understanding how diseases develop and the factors that cause them.
Objectives
- To train students to be expert Ayurvedic physicians with the "Heart of Modern Medicine but a Brain of Ayurved".
- To bridge the gap between ancient diagnostic tools and modern diagnostics.
- To enable students to understand and interpret new diseases (Anuktavyadhi).
Vision
- To provide best knowledge to the students regarding preparation of Herbal & Herbo-Mineral formulation as per Ayurvedic Siddhant in Comparison with Contemporary science with standard operative procedure & to strengthen their skill in the field of Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics.

- To provide Qualitative and research base pharmaceutical education through innovating teaching & techniques.
- To provide a platform that encourage students to produce ayurvedic formulations with good quality as per GMP norms.
