Dravyaguna
Dravyagun vigyan is an important discipline of Ayurveda that studies the source, identification, pharmacological properties, actions and clinical utility of medicinal plants, based on principles such as Rasa (taste), Guna (qualities), Virya (potency), Vipaka (post-digestive effect), and Prabhava (specific action).

To develop the Dravyaguna department as a centre of excellence that integrates classical Ayurvedic knowledge of medicinal plants with modern scientific understanding, fostering competent Ayurvedic physicians who practice rational, evidence-based, and sustainable use of drugs for the benefit of individual and public health.

Objectives
