INTRODUCTION
Rog Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan (Ayurvedic Diagnostics and Pathology) is a fundamental, clinical department in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) curriculum. It focuses on diagnosing diseases (Vyadhi) and understanding their underlying pathology (Samprapti) using both ancient Ayurvedic methods and modern laboratory diagnostics.
Rog Nidan evum Vikriti Vigyan (Ayurvedic Diagnostics) is about diagnosing diseases using ancient methods. It focuses on understanding how diseases develop and the factors that cause them.

Mission
- To update and refine students clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills through clinical activities, evidence based research and integrate conventional diagnostics with contemporary technologies.
Objectives
- Focuses on bridging the gap between fundamental principles and clinical practice, training students to identify diseases through Nidan Panchak (five-fold investigation) and laboratory analysis.
- To train students in using modern laboratory equipments and interpretation of the reports.
- To introduce students to the basics of Radiology & ECG to provide appropriate diagnosis.
- To validate ancient diagnostics methods with scientific, modern methods.
