INTRODUCTION
Kriya Sharir i.e. Ayurvedic Physiology studies human body functions using core Ayurvedic principles like Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala forming a foundation for Ayurvedic education and practice.
Kriya Sharir explains the functional aspects of the human body based on Ayurvedic principles and modern physiology. The department emphasizes concepts such as Dosha, Dhatu, Mala, Agni, and physiological processes governing health and disease. Through theoretical teaching and practical demonstrations, students gain a clear understanding of normal body functions, which forms the foundation for diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare in Ayurveda.
Objectives
- To train the students of UG courses by virtue of Human body dissection
- To deliver the knowledge regarding various vital structural details of Human body theoretically and practically.
- Being the most basic subject of all, make the students acquainted with applied and clinical relevant details of Human body.
