Aura Conservation Park

A ONE-DAY workshop on ‘Mdicinal Plant Identification and Conservation’ as conduct- ed by Aura Conservation Park, Nagpur and Indutai Gaikwad Patil Ayurved College, Hospital and Research Centre, Dhuti, Nagpur, in collaboration with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. The workshop, titled ‘Aranyavedh,’ aimed to preserve traditional ayurvedic knowledge and create awareness about bio- diversity. The event included a forest walk, practical demon- strations on medicinal plantidentification, and guidance on drug science and conservation ethics. Dr Pramod Khobragade, highlighted the importance of medicinal plants in Ayurvedaand environmental balance.Ambarish Ghatate, Director of Aura Conservation Park, deliv- ered an inspiring lecture on sus- tainable ecosystem manage- ment. Dr Madhuri Wagh dis- cussed the conservation of medicinal plants, while Dr Sameer Belorkar, Inspector MUHS, Nashik, guided partici- pants on achieving academic excellence. Free Diagnostic Camp

Nagpur: Indutai Gaikwad Patil Ayurvedic Hospital organized a free diagnostic and Panchakarma treatment camp at Gram Panchayat Kanholibara on October 15 under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Mohan Yende. About 115 patients took advantage of this camp. In this camp, a comprehensive health check-up was conducted for the patients. Specialist doctors provided treatment and guidance on rheumatism, arthritis, rheumatism, skin diseases, gynecology, pediatrics and other diseases. Patients were taught the importance of yoga and pranayama to stay healthy, as well as the importance of diet, dietetics, and Panchakarma. Patients were given special guidance on how to maintain and maintain health, and free medicines were distributed to all patients. Free blood pressure and sugar checks were also conducted. Panchakarma expert Dr. Kanchan Sorate, yoga and dietician Dr. Darshana Tathe, medical officer Dr. Archana Chahare and Dr. Parmeshwar Hakke examined the patients in the camp. Also, Sister Bhavana Jogi, Aanchal Uike, Pharmacist Sanskruti Kite, Attendant Rajesh Deshmukh and Pratibha Dhurve provided special assistance. Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mohan Yende, with the consent of Sarpanch Pallavi Kukadkar and with the cooperation of Gram Panchayat workers, the camp was successfully conducted.

‘Charak Chintan’ Program

Aspects of Ayurveda revealed in ‘Charak Chintan’ educational program Nagpur: On January 31 and 1 February , MedAyu Hospital, in collaboration with Indutai Gaikwad Patil Ayurveda College, organized an educational program called ‘Charak Chintan’. The inauguration program was attended by Vaidya Dhanraj Gahukar, Dr. Jyoti Gahukar, Dr. Sandesh Goje, Dr. Mohan Yende, Dr. Shailesh Gahukar, Dr. Ujjwala Gahukar, Dr. Vedprakash Gahukar, Dr. Preeti Gahukar and Dr. Preeti Sahu. Dr. Dhanraj Gahukar spoke about the importance of Charaka Samhita, Panchakarma and Research Medicine in modern clinical practice. Dr. Anant Dharmadhikari gave an in-depth lecture on Research Medicine. Dr. Abhijit Saraf guided on vomiting and defecation disorders and their management. Dr. Renuka Gayal, while discussing Basti Chikitsa and Sansarjan Karma, emphasized the importance of post-treatment care. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Preeti Gahukar. The next day, the program began with a Dhanvantari Stavan sung by Preeti Sayre. After this, Dr. Mohan Yende and Dr. Sandesh Goje emphasized on code-based education and academic discipline. Dr. Anant Dharmadhikari explained the concept of Charkokta Research Chirikta in detail from a clinical perspective. Dr. Abhijit Saraf explained the practical aspects of vomiting and defecation disorders as well as their treatment. Dr. Renuka Gayal spoke about the importance of Basti Chikitsa and proper sanitation practices. The program was coordinated by Dr. Preeti Gahukar, Dr. Renuka Changde and Dr. Kalyani Awasthi, while the vote of thanks was given by Dr. Vedprakash Gahukar.
